v2.0 was a deliberate narrowing: we cut everything that wasn't contract review and went deep on doing that one thing exceptionally well.
That bet paid off — and it surfaced the next bottleneck. Review stopped being the slow part. Everything around it didn't: the request that arrives as a Teams message, the approval waiting on one person's inbox, the signature chased over three days, the answer to "who agreed to this, and when?" that lives in somebody's memory.
instaSpace v3.0 is about that surrounding work. Not a return to lifecycle sprawl — the same depth, now shared across a team.
Shared Workspaces
A workspace is the team's shared context. Everything one person builds, everyone inherits:
- Playbooks written once and applied to every review the team runs
- A shared Vault, so the contract someone reviewed last quarter is findable this quarter
- Threads and drafts visible to the people who need them, not trapped in one account
- A shared monthly credit pool — seats price collaboration, credits price consumption
Buying a Team plan creates a new shared workspace. Your personal workspace and its data stay exactly as they were, and you can switch between the two at any time.
Legal Request Intake
Most legal work doesn't arrive as a contract. It arrives as a question, in a channel, from someone who needs an answer today. Intake gives that traffic a front door:
- A structured request form instead of a message thread
- Assignees, due dates and status, so nothing sits unowned
- Comments and @mentions that notify the right person
- Attachments that stay with the request instead of scattering across inboxes
Requests become a queue the team can actually manage, and a record of what legal was asked for and how long it took.
Roles, Audit Logs and Control
Shared access only works if it can be governed:
- Customizable roles — decide who can review, who can send for signature, who can change billing
- A workspace audit log covering every mutation, download and export
- A workspace-wide 2FA policy
- Centralized billing across the team, with per-seat analytics on Premium
The audit trail answers "who did what, and when" without anyone having to remember.
Covering the Rest of the Workflow
Review was never the whole job. v3.0 closes the gaps on either side of it:
- E-signatures on every paid plan — turn a contract into a reusable template, fill it, send it for legally binding signature, and track it to completion
- Playbooks that encode your standards, so every review is measured against the same bar
- Vault as the team's searchable memory of what has already been agreed
- OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Drive integrations, so documents arrive from where they already live
- The Microsoft Word plugin, for the drafting that still happens in Word
Same principle as v2.0: meet the work where it already happens, rather than asking anyone to move.
What This Means for You
If you work alone, nothing changes — the solo plans keep getting the same review depth, now with e-signatures included on every paid tier.
If you work in a team, Team Standard and Team Premium are built for you. Both are per-seat with a shared credit pool, start at two seats, and require a verified company email domain.
